Putting the Black in Black Friday

For 70 years, Black Friday has been the biggest shopping day of the year–a holiday tradition that, sadly, has disproportionately excluded Black-owned businesses. We created Black Shop Friday to encourage Chicagoans to “put the Black in Black Friday” by adding one Black-owned business or product to their shopping cart.
